The Focal Point: Oakland
Directions to our Oakland office
From BART:
- Take BART to 12th Street/Oakland City Center (both Richmond and Pittsburg/Bay Point trains go through our stop from San Francisco, do not take Fremont or Dublin/Pleasanton trains)
- Easiest to be in the middle of the train and exit the station by walking up the staircases/escalators and following the signs to: John Williams Plaza Exit
- After exiting the turnstiles, walk along the fountain and go up the escalator to the Plaza level (there will be a Jamba Juice on your left at the top of the escalator)
- Head towards the colorful fountain in the middle of the plaza and turn right
- Walk down the alley between the Fountain Café and Bagel Street Café, turn left immediately after the Bagel Street Café and before the stairs
- Walk 80 feet and you should be at the pair of glass doors for our building: 501 14th Street
- Take the elevator to the second floor
Driving (from Oakland Airport/South Bay):
- Take I-880 North to Broadway exit, turn right onto Broadway
- Turn left onto 8th St.
- Turn right onto Clay St.
- Turn right onto 11th St.
- Turn left into the City Center parking garage
Driving (from SF/San Francisco Airport):
- Take I-80 East across the Bay Bridge towards Oakland
- Take I-580 East toward downtown Oakland/Hayward/Stockton
- Merge onto I-980 West
- Take the 11th Street exit
- Turn left onto 11th Street
- Cross Clay Street (3 lights)
- Turn left into the City Center Parking Garage
Driving (from the East Bay/Walnut Creek):
- Take CA-24 West, which becomes I-980 West
- Take the 11th Street exit
- Turn left onto 11th Street
- Cross Clay Street (3 lights)
- Turn left into the City Center Parking Garage
Directions from the parking garage to The Focal Point:
- Walk up the stairs
- Walk past FedEx Office and make a right into the center of the City Center Plaza
- Continue to the fountain and turn left, passing between the Fountain Cafe and the Bagel Street Cafe, turn left before you reach the stairs
- Continue around the corner of the building and you will see a set of glass doors and a sign for the “501 14th Street” entrance
- Take the elevator to the second floor
